Google account sync error keeps coming back on Android
Your phone lost its connection to your Google account and needs to be reconnected. Go to Settings, find your Google account, remove it, then sign back in. This clears out the broken connection and fixes the sync error.
When your Google account sync fails, your phone's saved account information got out of sync with Google's servers. Your phone thinks it's connected, but the connection is actually broken. The quickest fix is removing the account and signing back in to start fresh with Google.
- ✓Have your current Google password ready
- ✓Make sure you're connected to WiFi or mobile data
- ✓Have a few minutes to wait for sync to restart
