Cast screen not working on your Android phone

Cast Screen needs three things: your phone and TV on the same WiFi network, Bluetooth on, and a TV that supports casting. Check those first. If they're all good, restart both devices and try again.

Cast Screen shows your phone's screen on a TV wirelessly. If it won't work, your phone and TV aren't on the same WiFi, Bluetooth is off, or your TV doesn't support casting. We'll check all three and get it working.

⚡ Before you start
  • Make sure your phone and TV are both connected to the exact same WiFi network
  • Have your TV's remote or controls nearby in case you need to check its WiFi settings
  • Check that your TV supports casting (most modern smart TVs do, but some older TVs need a separate Chromecast device)
  • Keep your phone and TV within 30 feet of each other and the WiFi router
