Mobile data not working but WiFi is fine
Mobile data is turned off in your phone's settings, or your SIM card isn't being read properly. Go to Settings and turn on mobile data. If it's already on, restart your phone. One of these fixes it almost every time.
Your phone can use either mobile data from your carrier or WiFi to connect to the internet. When WiFi works but mobile data doesn't, something is blocking the cellular connection on your phone or the SIM card isn't being read. We'll check the settings and restart the phone.
- ✓Make sure you have an active carrier plan that includes mobile data
- ✓Check that you haven't reached your carrier's data limit for this billing cycle
- ✓Confirm your phone has a clear view of the sky or near a window so it can receive carrier signal
- ✓Keep WiFi turned off while testing mobile data, so you can clearly see if it's working
Fix-IT-Bot will walk you through each step, just tap, no typing needed.
