Your Android phone won't connect to mobile data
Airplane mode is probably on by accident, mobile data is turned off in settings, or your SIM card is loose. Check airplane mode first. If it's off, turn on mobile data in settings. Then restart your phone. This works.
Mobile data is how your phone uses your carrier's network to connect to the internet. When it stops working, it's a settings issue or airplane mode being on. We'll check both and make sure your phone can connect to the network.

⚡ Before you start
- ✓Make sure you have an active carrier plan that includes mobile data
- ✓Check that you're in an area with carrier coverage (look for signal bars at the top of your screen)
- ✓Confirm your phone is not low on battery (very low battery can disable mobile data temporarily)
- ✓Turn off WiFi while testing so you can clearly see if mobile data is working

- Not checking if airplane mode is on. It's the single most common cause and easy to miss
- Assuming the carrier plan includes data when some basic plans don't
- Resetting network settings without saving WiFi passwords first, then being unable to reconnect to WiFi
