Your Android clock is showing the wrong time or timezone
Your phone's automatic timezone setting is off. Go to Settings → System → Date and time and turn on Set time automatically and Set timezone automatically. This syncs your phone to the correct time.
Android phones automatically sync their time and timezone with your location and network. If this feature is turned off or misconfigured, your clock will show the wrong time. Most clocks get out of sync after traveling or when you manually change the time.

Skip, I just want a technicianCommon mistakes to avoid
- Turning on automatic time but not automatic timezone. You need both if you travel between timezones.
- Manually setting the time instead of turning on automatic sync. Manual time will drift again in a few days.
- Thinking your clock is broken when really automatic sync is just turned off. It's just a toggle.
Signs you need professional help
- If you've enabled automatic time and timezone sync, restarted your phone, and it's still showing the wrong time by more than an hour, get in touch — your phone's clock hardware may need replacing.
