eSIM not activating after transferring to a new phone

Your eSIM needs to reconnect to your carrier's network after the transfer. Restart your phone first. This re-registers your eSIM on the network. If that doesn't work, check that you're not in airplane mode and that your phone recognizes the plan.

When you move an eSIM to a new phone, it sometimes takes a moment to reconnect to your carrier's network. The plan is already transferred, so your phone just needs to find the signal. A simple restart gets most eSIMs working again in seconds. If it doesn't, it's airplane mode being on by mistake or your phone not detecting the eSIM correctly.
