Tap-to-pay got declined at the checkout

Payment declines happen for four reasons: your card expired, your bank blocked the transaction, the terminal doesn't support tap-to-pay, or there's an issue with how your card was set up. Check your card's expiration date first, then contact your bank.

When tap-to-pay gets declined, it's either a card issue, a bank security check, or a terminal compatibility issue. Your card can be expired, your bank can have rejected the transaction for security, or that specific terminal can not support contactless payments.
