Android gesture navigation not responding to swipes
Gesture navigation needs to be enabled in Settings. If it's already on, try restarting your phone or going back to three-button navigation and then back to gestures. If the left edge of your screen is being used by another app, it can block the gesture.
Android gesture navigation lets you swipe instead of using buttons to go back, home, or switch apps. If it's not responding, it's because it's disabled, another app is blocking it, or your phone needs to restart. We'll check that it's enabled and clear any app conflicts.
