Android tablet keyboard won't connect or pair
Restart both your tablet and keyboard first. Then turn on Bluetooth and put the keyboard in pairing mode before pairing it again. This fixes most keyboard connection problems.
External keyboards connect to tablets through Bluetooth wireless or USB cable. If your keyboard won't connect, Bluetooth is off, the keyboard isn't in pairing mode, the battery is dead, or the pairing is corrupted. We'll turn on Bluetooth, check the keyboard is in pairing mode, and pair them fresh.
- ✓Have your keyboard powered on and within 3 feet of your tablet
- ✓Know whether your keyboard connects by Bluetooth or USB cable
- ✓For USB keyboards, have the correct adapter for your tablet's USB port type
Fix-IT-Bot will walk you through each step, just tap, no typing needed.
