Saved WiFi network won't auto-connect on Android
The saved network data is probably corrupted. Forget the network and reconnect to it once from scratch. Your phone will re-save it properly and auto-connect next time. This fixes the problem.
Android saves WiFi networks for automatic reconnection, but the saved data can get corrupted or auto-connect settings can turn off. Forgetting the network and reconnecting refreshes the saved entry and fixes auto-connect for users. If that doesn't work, there's an auto-connect toggle you can check.
- ✓Have the WiFi password ready — check the router sticker if you're not sure
- ✓Make sure WiFi is turned on before starting
- ✓Stay near the router while testing

Skip, I just want a technicianCommon mistakes to avoid
- Forgetting the network but not reconnecting to it — you must actively connect at least once to re-save it
- Not checking if the router password changed since the last successful connection
- Assuming the router is broken without testing with another device first
Signs you need professional help
- Auto-connect still doesn't work after forgetting and re-saving, or the network appears on other devices but your phone can't see it at all
