SharePoint CRM form not submitting when you click save

The form is stuck because a required field is blank, has invalid data, or your internet connection dropped. First check that all red-highlighted fields are filled in, then try clearing your browser cache and refreshing the page.

When you fill out a SharePoint CRM form and click Save, the form checks that all required fields are completed, then sends the data to the server. If something is missing, has the wrong format, or your internet is unstable, the form will stop and won't let you save. We'll walk you through checking required fields, fixing invalid data, and clearing browser issues.

⚡ Before you start
  • Look for any fields highlighted in red or marked with a red asterisk (*). These are required fields and must be filled in
  • Check that all red fields actually have data in them. Sometimes you fill something in but it doesn't register
  • Look for an error message below the Save button. Read it carefully, it tells you what's wrong
  • Check your internet connection by opening a new tab and going to Google. Does it load?
