SharePoint page won't publish and keeps showing an error
A section of the page is likely broken or not loading properly. Click the Save button first to make sure your changes are saved, then refresh the page. If the Publish button still doesn't work, look for any red error messages in the page sections. Delete the section causing the problem and try publishing again.
SharePoint pages publish in sections. If one section has a broken web part or missing data, the whole page can't publish. Save your page first, then look for error messages telling you which section is broken. Removing the broken section lets the page publish.
