VoIP desk phone not getting an IP address from the network

Your phone isn't getting a network address from your router. Unplug the phone from power and the network cable for 30 seconds, then plug it all back in. This resets it and fixes the problem. If the phone still shows no IP after that, the network cable is loose or broken.

Your VoIP phone needs to get an IP address from your router to work. It's like a home address for your phone on the network. If the phone doesn't get an address, it can't connect to the phone system. This happens because of a loose cable, a power issue, or your router not giving out addresses. A hard restart fixes it.
