POS (point of sale) system showing offline or not processing payments

Your POS system has lost internet connection to the payment processor. Check that your internet is working, restart the register, and check the ethernet or WiFi cable.

When your POS system goes offline, the connection to your payment processor was interrupted. This is from a loose network cable, a WiFi drop, or your internet provider having a problem. We will check your connection, restart the system, and get you back to processing payments.

  • Check that your internet is working by loading a website on another device
  • Check that the ethernet cable is plugged into the POS register and the router
  • Check your WiFi connection if you use WiFi instead of ethernet
  • Restart the POS register by turning it off and on again
