Other players hear echo when you talk in voice chat
Your speaker sound is getting picked up by your microphone and sent back to other players. Move the microphone away from the speaker, lower the volume, or mute the game sound when you're talking in chat. This fixes the echo right away.
Echo happens when your microphone picks up sound from your speakers and sends it back. This can be your own voice coming out of the speakers and back into the mic, or the game audio being caught by the microphone. Moving the microphone further away from speakers, lowering game volume, or using push-to-talk mode stops the echo immediately.

- Turning down your own hearing volume instead of the game volume. Friends still hear the echo
- Using a headset with the speakers on at the same time. This causes echo even with a good microphone position
- Setting microphone sensitivity too high thinking it will help them hear you better. It just makes echo worse
