Bluetooth audio keeps cutting in and out on Mac

Bluetooth audio cutting out is caused by interference from WiFi, your device being too far away, low battery, or a corrupted pairing. Moving closer, removing interference, checking the battery, or re-pairing fixes this.

Bluetooth operates on the same 2.4 GHz frequency as WiFi and microwaves, so interference is common. When audio keeps cutting out, the wireless signal is weak or interrupted. This happens when your headphones are too far from your Mac, other Bluetooth devices are nearby, your WiFi router is close by, your device's battery is low, or the Bluetooth pairing is corrupted. The fixes are straightforward: move closer, remove interference, check the battery, or re-pair.
