Night Shift stopped turning on automatically on your Mac
Night Shift scheduling sometimes breaks in macOS. Go to System Settings → Displays → Night Shift and toggle the schedule off and back on. That re-activates it within 30 seconds.
Night Shift is supposed to warm your screen at night to reduce blue light. Sometimes the scheduling feature stops working even though the setting looks fine. Re-enabling the schedule fixes it. If that doesn't work, there's a conflict with another app or a screen profile overriding Night Shift.
