Mac screen recording not capturing video or audio
Screen recording needs permission to use your microphone and to capture your screen. Check System Settings to allow it, and make sure you've selected the right microphone if you want audio. Most recording problems are permission issues.
Screen recording on Mac uses built-in tools in QuickTime or the screenshot app. When it stops working, it's most commonly because permissions are blocked or the wrong microphone is selected. We'll check permissions, pick the right microphone, and make sure the app has access.
