How to set up multiple desktops (Spaces) on your Mac

Your Mac has a built-in feature called Spaces that lets you create as many separate desktops as you want. Use Mission Control (swipe up with four fingers or press Control-Up) to see all your desktops, or swipe left and right with four fingers to jump between them. You can have 10+ desktops running at once.

Spaces is a Mac feature that lets you create multiple desktops. Think of each one as a different desk. One for email, one for documents, one for design work. You can put different apps on different desktops so your screen stays clean. You can see all your desktops at once in Mission Control, or swipe left and right to move between them.
