- ✓Make sure the cable from the modem to the router is plugged in firmly at both ends
- ✓Feel the back of the router. If it's very hot, it needs better ventilation
- ✓Track whether the drops happen at a specific time each day
- ✓Unplug the router for 30 seconds and plug it back in. Note whether the connection lasts longer
