WiFi 6 devices connecting but getting slow speeds

WiFi 6 devices sometimes fall back to older WiFi standards if the connection isn't perfect. Move your router closer to the router or remove obstacles between them. WiFi needs a clear line of sight.

WiFi 6 is fast, but your device needs to be close enough to the router to use it. If the signal is weak or blocked by walls, your device will automatically drop down to slower WiFi standards. Moving your router closer fixes it. If not, check your router settings to make sure 802.11ax (WiFi 6) mode is turned on and set to the right channels.
