Router parental controls not blocking websites

Your parental controls are either disabled, bypassed by a VPN, or not applied to all devices on your network. Check if parental controls are on, make sure they apply to the right devices, and confirm the blocked sites list is correct.

Parental controls can stop working for several reasons. The controls are turned off accidentally, someone is using a VPN to bypass them, the rules apply only to certain devices and not others, or the block list doesn't include the site the way it's spelled online. We will check each one.
