Can't access your router's admin page at 192.168.1.1

You need to be connected to your router's WiFi network and use the correct IP address. Most routers use 192.168.1.1, but some use 192.168.0.1. Try both.

The admin page is a private settings panel that lives on your router itself. To reach it, your computer has to be connected to the router. Either through WiFi or a network cable. If you're on a different network or if the router isn't responding, the page won't load.

⚡ Before you start
  • Check that you're connected to your own WiFi network. Not your phone's hotspot or a neighbour's network
  • Check that you're using the correct IP address. Your router's label shows which one it uses
  • Check that you haven't changed the router's IP address to something different in the past
