How to find your WiFi password if you forgot it

Your WiFi password is printed on a sticker on your router. Look on the bottom or the back for it. If the sticker is gone or unreadable, you can look it up on any device that's already connected, or log into your router's admin panel if you know the admin password.

Your WiFi password is stored three places: on a sticker on your router, in the network settings of any device that's connected, and in the router's admin panel if you can log in. The easiest method is to find the sticker on your router. Most routers have it on the bottom with the network name and password printed clearly. If the sticker is missing or worn out, check a connected device's WiFi settings to see the password in plain text.
