Smart home hub showing devices as unavailable

The hub lost connection to one or more devices over WiFi, but it's just a WiFi signal issue or the hub needs a restart. Power off your hub for 30 seconds, turn it back on, and wait 5 minutes for devices to reconnect. If the problem comes back, a device is too far from the hub.

Your hub is the translator between your phone and your smart devices. When it shows everything as unavailable, it means the connection between the hub and your devices broke. This happens because the WiFi signal weakened, the hub crashed, or a device lost power. A simple restart brings most devices back instantly. If it keeps happening, you'll need a stronger WiFi signal or to move devices closer to the hub.

⚡ Before you start
  • Check that your hub is plugged in and has power. Look at the status lights on your computer
  • Check that your WiFi network is working. Pull up a website on your phone to make sure internet is up
  • Check how far each device is from the hub. Smart home devices work best within 30-50 feet, less if walls are in the way
