Google Home or Nest device not setting up or showing offline
Setup fails because Bluetooth is off on your phone, your phone is on 5GHz WiFi instead of 2.4GHz, or Location Services is disabled. Turn on Bluetooth, switch to 2.4GHz WiFi, and enable Location Services, then try setup again.
Google Home setup uses two wireless connections: Bluetooth to find your device nearby, then WiFi to give your device internet access. Your phone needs Bluetooth on, Location Services enabled, and to be on the same 2.4GHz WiFi network where you want your device to connect. If any of these is missing, setup fails.
