Smart meter In-Home Display not showing accurate readings
The In-Home Display communicates with the smart meter over Zigbee, not WiFi. Move the IHD closer to the electricity meter (within 10 meters) and wait 10 minutes for it to reconnect.
UK smart meters use a dedicated wireless connection (Zigbee Home Area Network) between the meter and the IHD. This is completely separate from your home WiFi. If the IHD shows dashes, it has lost connection to the meter due to distance or signal obstruction.
