Smart light showing wrong color or not matching what you set
Your light will be set to a scene or group that overrides your color choice, or the bulb needs to sync its color profile with your app. Check that you're controlling the individual bulb (not a group), close and reopen the app to refresh it, and then set the color again. If it still looks wrong, the bulb's color calibration will need resetting.
Smart color lights have a color profile that tells them how to display colors accurately. This profile can get out of sync with your app, or you will be changing a group of lights instead of the individual one. We'll check your app settings, refresh the connection, and recalibrate the bulb's color if needed.
- ✓Have your bulb powered on before starting

- Adjusting the brightness slider thinking it affects color. it affects brightness only, but very low brightness can make colors look dull
- Trying to change the color while the light is controlled by a scene or automation. those override individual color changes
