App update stuck in the Microsoft Store and won't install
A stuck update means the Store app needs to refresh or there's a temporary connection issue. Restart your computer first. This clears the stuck update and lets it try again from scratch.
Updates get stuck when the Microsoft Store loses connection, runs out of temporary space, or encounters a glitch. A restart clears the stuck state and gives the update a fresh start. If restarting doesn't work, clearing the Store's cache does.
