Your camera isn't working in Microsoft Teams

Teams either doesn't have permission to use your camera or your camera is turned off in Teams settings. Go to Teams Settings → Devices → Camera and check that it's turned on and set to the right camera. If it's off, turn it on. This fixes it.

  • Make sure the camera is plugged in and the cable is fully connected to your computer
  • Make sure the camera works in other apps like Windows Camera or FaceTime
  • Make sure you see a camera icon in Teams at all. If there's no camera icon, Teams can't find the camera
