Your TV picture is too dark even when brightness is turned all the way up
Your TV has two brightness controls, and you're probably adjusting the wrong one. Eco mode also limits brightness. Go to Settings → Picture and turn off Eco mode first. Then find Backlight (not Brightness) and turn it up to 100.
TVs have multiple brightness controls that work together: Brightness, Backlight, and sometimes Picture Mode. Eco mode limits the backlight on purpose to save power. If you only adjust Brightness but Eco mode or Backlight is low, brightness won't improve. You need to check all of them.
- ✓Have your TV remote handy
- ✓Make sure you're watching content that should be bright (not a movie designed to be dark)
- ✓Check that your TV's power cable is fully plugged in

Skip, I just want a technicianCommon mistakes to avoid
- Turning up Brightness but forgetting about Backlight. Backlight is the real control that matters.
- Thinking Eco mode doesn't matter. It can cut brightness by 30-40 percent.
- Not realizing Picture Mode has its own settings. Switching modes changes brightness presets too.
- Increasing Contrast thinking it adds brightness. Contrast is about the difference between light and dark, not absolute brightness.
Signs you need professional help
- Everything is at maximum but still dark.
