Smart TV is hot and apps use lots of power during streaming

Streaming video puts heavy load on your TV's processor and can build up heat over time. The fix is simple: enable high-quality fan cooling, close background apps, stream at a lower quality setting if available, and give your TV breaks between sessions.

Streaming video requires your TV to decode video, handle wireless connection, and display at full brightness all at once. This puts sustained load on the processor, which generates heat. Most Smart TVs have a built-in fan that activates when temperature rises. If your TV keeps getting hot or shuts down during streaming, we'll clear background load and help manage the heat.
