Workout tracking not pausing automatically when you stop moving

Auto-pause can be turned off in your workout settings, or the watch movement detection isn't sensitive enough to recognize when you've stopped. Turn on auto-pause in the workout settings first. If it's already on, try a test workout and pause it manually when you're at a stop. This helps the watch learn your movement pattern.

Your watch uses motion sensors to detect when you stop moving and pauses the workout automatically. If auto-pause is off, it can't pause. Even if it's on, the sensors need a clear moment of stillness to recognize you've stopped. If you're swaying slightly or shifting your weight, the watch thinks you're still active. Enabling auto-pause and making a clear stop helps it work better.
