How to restore your smartwatch from a backup

Your smartwatch backs up automatically to iCloud (Apple) or the Galaxy Wearable app (Samsung). When you set up a new watch or reset an old one, just pair it with the same account and tap Restore from Backup during setup — all your settings, apps, and data come back in about 5 minutes.

Your smartwatch backs up automatically to your phone's cloud service. Apple to iCloud, Samsung to the cloud. When you set up a new watch or reset an old one, you can restore all your settings, apps, and personal data in one step. The restoration happens during the pairing process, so you don't need to do anything special. Just use the same phone and the same account you used before.
