Your smartwatch setup is stuck and won't finish

Restart your watch and phone, close the setup app completely, and start setup fresh. If it gets stuck again, try a different WiFi network or use your phone's hotspot instead. Make sure you have a good Bluetooth connection before starting.

A stuck setup just needs a fresh restart. We'll restart both devices, clear out any leftover setup processes, and try again. If it still gets stuck, we'll try a different internet connection or reset the watch completely.

  • Know your Apple ID or Google account password
  • Have a stable WiFi or cellular connection available
  • Make sure your watch battery is at least 30% charged
