Windows cannot find Bluetooth devices to pair with

Bluetooth is either turned off on your computer, your device is not in pairing mode, or your computer does not have Bluetooth hardware. Check Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Bluetooth to see if the toggle is on. If Bluetooth is on and your device still does not show up, put your device into pairing mode.

Windows cannot find Bluetooth devices because Bluetooth is turned off on your computer, your device is not in pairing mode, or your computer does not have Bluetooth hardware built in. Turning Bluetooth back on and putting your device into pairing mode fixes this.

  • Check that Bluetooth is actually turned on in Windows settings → Bluetooth & devices → Bluetooth
  • Check that your Bluetooth device is charged and powered on
  • Check that your Bluetooth device is in pairing mode with the blinking light showing
