  • Wait 5 full minutes after turning on the computer before opening any programs — Windows needs this time to finish startup work
  • Open Task Manager with Ctrl + Shift + Esc and click the Disk column to sort by usage
  • Open File Explorer, right-click the C: drive, select Properties, and note the percentage used
