Your second monitor is not showing up in Windows

The second monitor isn't being detected because of a loose cable, wrong input source on the monitor, an outdated driver, or Windows not scanning for it. A quick cable check and the Detect button fix it.

When Windows doesn't see your second monitor, it's always physical before it's software. A loose or faulty cable, the monitor set to the wrong input, or the display driver needing an update account for most cases. The Windows Detect button forces a re-scan and solves many cases where the monitor is connected but not showing.
