Camera not working in apps like Zoom or Teams on Windows
The app doesn't have permission to use your camera. Windows blocks camera access by default for security. Go to Privacy settings and turn on camera access for the app you're using. This fixes it.
When your camera works in one app but not another, Windows is blocking that specific app from accessing the camera. This is a privacy feature. We'll grant permission for the app, make sure the camera driver is up to date, and check if another program is already using the camera.
