Laptop trackpad scrolling direction is reversed
Windows got its scroll direction flipped, probably after a driver update. We'll toggle 'reverse scroll direction' in Trackpad Settings — it's a one-click fix.
Some trackpad drivers have a 'natural scrolling' option that mimics phone scroll behavior — swipe up and the content moves up. If this got enabled when you didn't expect it, scrolling feels backwards. We'll flip the setting back to normal.

Skip, I just want a technicianCommon mistakes to avoid
- Not finding the Scrolling direction setting because it's under different names depending on Windows version — look for 'reverse scroll', 'natural scrolling', or 'scroll direction'
- Confusing trackpad scrolling with mouse wheel scrolling — they're separate settings
Signs you need professional help
- If toggling the scroll direction setting doesn't fix it, or if you can't find the setting in Trackpad options, get in touch — it might need a driver update or reinstall.
