Laptop not going to sleep when you close the lid
Your laptop's power settings are set to do nothing when you close the lid. Go to Settings and change what happens when you close the lid to Sleep.
When a laptop's lid closes, it should go to sleep to save battery. If yours doesn't, a setting is wrong or the lid sensor isn't detected.
