Android tablet screen won't rotate
Check if Rotation lock is turned on. Swipe down twice from the top of your screen and look for Rotation lock. If it's on, tap it to turn it off. That fixes it for users.
Screen rotation works through two things: an auto-rotate setting that needs to be on, and a motion sensor inside your tablet that detects which way you're holding it. Rotation lock turns off this sensor. If rotation lock is on, rotation stops.
