Game controller analog stick drifting on its own

Stick drift is a buildup of dust or debris inside the stick mechanism. We'll clean it out first. If that doesn't work, recalibrating the controller fixes it. If both of those fail, the stick hardware needs replacing.

Stick drift happens when dust or dried sweat gets inside the analog stick and pushes on the sensor even when you're not pressing it. It's annoying and can ruin games, but it's fixable. We'll start by cleaning the stick, then recalibrate it, and if needed we can replace the stick module.
