Focus mode not blocking notifications on iPhone
Focus mode is set to allow notifications from certain contacts or apps. Check which people and apps your Focus mode is allowing. You probably need to either turn on Focus completely or remove apps from the Allow list so they're blocked too.
Focus mode lets you block notifications from people and apps you choose. If notifications are still getting through, you accidentally allowed certain people or apps in the Focus settings, or the Focus mode isn't actually enabled. We'll check what your Focus is allowing and tighten up the settings.
- ✓Check that Focus mode is actually turned on. Look at the Control Center to see if the Focus icon is highlighted
- ✓Check which people and apps are in your Focus Allow list. That's probably where the notifications are coming from
- ✓Check if notifications only come from specific contacts or apps, which would mean those are whitelisted in Focus
- ✓Check if you're looking at the Home Screen. Sometimes notifications don't show alerts but are still logged

- Confusing Focus mode with Do Not Disturb. Focus is more flexible and lets you choose what gets through
- Thinking Focus mode is broken when really it's just allowing a contact or app you forgot you whitelisted
