AirPods only playing sound in one ear

Either one AirPod has run out of battery, there's a mono audio setting turned on, or the AirPods are out of sync. Checking the battery, disabling mono audio, and reseating the AirPods in the case fixes this for most people in under five minutes.

When only one AirPod produces sound, it's almost always one of three things: that AirPod's battery is dead, mono audio mode is on, or the AirPods are out of sync with your iPhone. We'll check the battery, turn off mono mode if it's on, and re-pair the AirPods to fix the connection.
