CarPlay not connecting when you plug in your iPhone

The USB cable is the most common problem — cheap cables don't work reliably with CarPlay. Try a different cable first. If wireless CarPlay isn't working, your phone and car just need to forget each other and reconnect.

CarPlay stops working when the USB cable is damaged, the car's USB port is clogged with lint, or your phone and car have a corrupted connection. We'll check the cable, clean the port, and reset the connection.
