Calls going to the wrong line on your dual SIM iPhone
Check which line is set as your default for calls and texts in Settings → Cellular → Default Voice/SMS SIM. Calls will always use whichever SIM you set there, unless you select a different line right before making the call. If you want each contact to always use a specific line, you can set that in the contact details.
Your iPhone has a default SIM that handles incoming and outgoing calls unless you pick a different one. If calls are going to the wrong line, your default can be set wrong. You can choose which SIM is default, or you can set specific contacts to always use a particular line. Some users want incoming calls on their personal line and outgoing work calls on their work line.

- ✓Have a contact's phone number handy to test calling

- Setting your work number as the default SIM when you wanted personal calls to come in on that line. Think about which one you use more
- Not setting preferred SIMs for important contacts. Then calls still go through your default instead of the line you want
- Forgetting that you need to select a SIM before dialing if you want a different one than your default
Signs you need professional help
- You've set a default SIM and assigned preferred lines to contacts, but calls still go the wrong way. Give us a call and we'll check your SIM card setup and make sure both lines are registered correctly.
