FaceTime calls failing or not connecting

Check your internet connection is strong, make sure FaceTime is enabled in Settings, and confirm the other person has FaceTime enabled too. Then force-close FaceTime and try again.

FaceTime needs a stable internet connection, and both people need FaceTime enabled. Calls fail when internet is unreliable, when FaceTime isn't enabled, or when the other person doesn't have FaceTime set up. FaceTime works over WiFi or cellular data. If your connection is weak or unstable, calls will drop.
