FaceTime video quality poor or freezing during calls

First, disable Low Data Mode, which artificially restricts video quality. Then close other apps using data (like Spotify or YouTube), check your WiFi signal is strong, and make sure you have adequate lighting. Try force-closing and reopening FaceTime.

Poor FaceTime video quality comes from Low Data Mode restricting your data, weak internet signal, other apps consuming bandwidth, or poor lighting. Video freezing and dropping mean your connection is unstable. Disable Low Data Mode, close bandwidth-hungry apps, and improve your WiFi signal strength fixes it.
