Photos sent in iMessage not downloading or showing blurry
Photos don't download because your internet is too slow or your iPhone doesn't have enough storage space. Check you have WiFi or good cellular signal, make sure you have at least 1 GB of free space, and try again.
iMessage photos need a stable internet connection to download. If your connection is weak or drops, photos won't download completely. Also, if your iPhone storage is almost full, photos get compressed to save space. Freeing up storage and improving your connection fixes most photo download issues.
- ✓Check your internet signal. Look at WiFi or cellular bars at the top
- ✓Check your storage. Go to Settings → General → iPhone Storage and see how much free space you have
- ✓Try downloading the photo again. Sometimes it's just a temporary glitch
